Our community quilts are a beautiful reflection of who we are.

This year, each student added a leaf, to each quilt creating something meaningful together. Two parents from our school community lovingly created the tree, and every leaf placed by our students helped bring it to life.

The quilt celebrates our differences—each leaf unique in colour, shape, and story—while reminding us that we are all rooted in the same place. Together, we grow, belong, and strengthen our community.

Thank you to the parents who created this special piece and to every student who made it their own.

We’re proud to celebrate Mrs. Abbinett on her retirement after 20 years at Mornington. A strong, supportive presence, she truly embodies what it means to be part of a community. Her impact on students, staff, and families has been lasting—wishing her all the very best! 💚 Today, we wore green to show our love and appreciation, her favourite colour.

Happy Principals’ Day to colleagues near and far across the province. I’m especially proud to serve such an inspiring and supportive community here at Mornington! ❤️
