That’s a wrap on our Summer Giving Campaign! 💜

Over the past several weeks, the Milton community came together to support the MCRC Infant Food Bank, and thanks to your incredible generosity, $1,414 in physical and monetary donations was raised!

These donations are already making a difference, helping provide one month of essential care and supplies for 8 babies in our community. 🍼💜

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and supported the campaign. Your generosity shows just how much we can accomplish when we come together for our community.

Thank you, Milton! 💜

🎶🍻 A little taste of the East Coast, right here in Milton!

Earlier this month, 74 attendees joined us at Orange Snail Brewery for the Screeched Inn Kitchen Party, bringing Newfoundland music, community, and East Coast spirit to Milton. 🎻🪗

But what does a kitchen party have to do with the library? 👀

This special event was part of One Book One Milton 2026, celebrating our featured author and proud Newfoundlander Mary Walsh!

Check out the highlights and join us for more One Book One Milton events! 📚✨

Your recipe could become part of Milton’s story.

Family recipes are more than instructions, they carry memories, traditions, and stories from one generation to the next. As part of Nourish and Connect, selected heirloom recipes will have the opportunity to be featured in community cooking workshops and a new community cookbook.

Older adults and their caregivers are invited to share a recipe and help us celebrate the food, culture, and stories that bring our community together. ❤️

📅 Submit by September 25th, 2026 through the link in our bio!

This project is made possible through the financial assistance of the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
