We're looking for a structure in Millville or the surrounding area that we could use for training on October 16th and 17th.

We'll be practicing advancing hose through a structure, so ideally it will be something we can flow (a lot of) water in, like a vacant house, barn, or garage. We can also work without actually spraying the water, but things are likely to get a little wet and a little dirty regardless.

We've just received some exciting new equipment that will strengthen our ability to respond to wildfires quickly and effectively. 🔥

This new fire skid has been added to Unit 21, featuring a 200-gallon water tank, pump, and hose reel. It gives us added flexibility and speed in our response, particularly in more remote areas that can be difficult to reach with our regular apparatus.

A big thank you to GlobalMedic for their generous donation, and for helping us be better prepared to serve our fantastic community!

Please join us in congratulating Deputy Fire Chief Joshua Liston on his promotion to Deputy Fire Chief, serving as the first officer for Nackawic-Millville fire station 3 (Millville).

Deputy Liston has served since 2012 alongside his father who is also a member. Deputy Liston is the son of Michael and Jennifer Liston (Maple Ridge).
