Starting Monday, May 4th, the Iron Mountain Youth Lounge will now be running on Mondays instead of Fridays!

👉 This means there will be no Teen Center on Friday, May 1st as we make the switch.
We’re excited to continue providing a safe, fun space for youth—just on a new day!

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Iron Mountain Youth Lounge Food Drive on Friday, April 24th and helped make this possible 💚

Because of your generosity, the Iron Mountain Youth Lounge was able to give back to a local food bank that is really struggling right now. Your support is directly helping individuals and families in our community access the food they need during a difficult time.

We’re incredibly proud of our youth and community for stepping up and showing what kindness and compassion look like in action. This is what community is all about—supporting each other when it matters most.

Donations are still being accepted today at 2040 Granite Ave between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM if you’d like to contribute!

Food Drive for Our Community!

Iron Mountain Youth Lounge is hosting a Food Drive to support local families and youth in need and we’d love your help!

📅 April 24th, 2026
⏰ 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
📍 2040 Granite Ave, Merritt, BC

Our youth will also be going door-to-door collecting donations during this time. If we miss you, you can still drop items off on April 27th (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM).

Every donation makes a difference and goes directly to those who need it most 💙

April is stacked with fun events at the Iron Mountain Youth Lounge!

From tacos and trivia to a chess tournament and giving back with a food drive, there’s something for everyone and of course, some delicious food each week with the opportunity to practice your cooking skills!

March at the Iron Mountain Youth Lounge!

Looking for something fun to do on Friday afternoons? Come hang out at the Iron Mountain Youth Lounge in Merritt! This free drop-in space is open to youth ages 12–18 and offers a safe place to connect, relax, and have fun with friends.

The Better at Home Nicola Valley Saturday Seniors’ Socials are returning, starting February 7, 2026, and continuing on the first three Saturdays of each month.

Join us for free coffee, tea, snacks, conversation, and connection at 2040 Granite Avenue, Interior Community Services. It’s a relaxed and welcoming space to connect with others and enjoy time together.
