Terry Fox Community Run – Run, Walk or Bike! 🍁❤️

Join us for the Terry Fox Community Run, brought to you by the City of Melville in conjunction with Melville Schools!

Bring the whole family and run, walk or bike as we come together to honour Terry Fox and his incredible legacy of courage, determination and hope. Whether you complete one lap or many, everyone is welcome to participate at their own pace.

📅 Tuesday, September 29
⏰ 1:30 PM – Meet at the gazebo by the pool
🎉 2:00 PM – Run kicks off
📍 Centennial Park (Park by the pool)

There will be parking available at the pool, dog park and along the road. Rain or shine, we're ready to roll! (except in extreme weather)

❤️ Donations to the Terry Fox Foundation can be made on-site, and everyone who donates can enter to win some fantastic prizes!

Join us tomorrow as we remember.

In a world that seems more divided than ever, we invite you to join us in solidarity as we mark 25 years since the tragic terrorist attacks that forever changed the worlds of so many. 343 firefighters gave their lives in service to others that day and in the days since. Numerous emergency service personal have also sadly passed due to the effects of working in the recovery efforts of this tragic event. Join us at 9AM September 11 for a service of remembrance. All are welcome. If you are a uniformed service member, we invite you to attend in uniform. 🏃‍♀️ Walking Track Fall & Winter Hours! 👟

Looking for a warm, comfortable place to stay active as the weather cools down? At the CN Community Centre the Prairie Co-op Walking Track is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM throughout the fall and winter season.

❤️ And the best part — it’s FREE to use!

A big thank you to Prairie Co-op for their generous sponsorship, which allows us to offer free access to the walking track for everyone in our community.

Whether you're getting in your daily steps, meeting a friend for a walk, or looking for a way to stay active this winter, come on down!
