Melfort & District Senior Citizens Club held a successful pre-Christmas bingo on Nov. 8, 2025.
A big thank you is extended to the Melfort businesses and individuals who donated prizes for this event. Support of the many bingo players who attended is much appreciated. Thanks to the workers and everyone involved. Watch for date of Spring Bingo 2026.

The Melfort and District Senior Citizens Club recently held its annual meeting, where members gathered to review the past year's accomplishments and elect new board members for the upcoming term. The event, held at Seniors Place, brought together club members for a delicious potluck lunch, meeting and afternoon socializing.
During the meeting, reports were shared detailing the club’s activities and financial standing, reflecting a successful year.
The election of board members was a key part of the meeting, with the following individuals elected to leadership positions:
President: Terry Arn
Vice President: Glen Sorensen
Secretary: Leah Scott
Board Member-at-Large: Gail Kager
Bob Duns, Treasurer and Ann Farwell, Board Member at Large remain on Board of Directs to complete two year terms.
The club, which has been active in the Melfort community for many years, provides social, educational, and recreational opportunities for seniors. Members enjoy regular gatherings, guest speakers, variety of games and volunteer opportunities.
The Seniors Club looks forward to another year of engaging activities, advocacy, and support for the senior community. The club welcomes all seniors to participate in its programs and initiatives. New members welcome.

Melfort and District Seniors Club purpose is to provide older adults with opportunities for socialization, recreation, and personal development. The aim is to enhance quality of life for seniors by fostering a sense of community, offering activities that promote physical and mental health, and providing a supportive environment to build friendships.
