The Never Miss Lunch® program is Subway Canada’s commitment to helping children in communities like ours. In partnership with Food Banks Canada’s After the Bell program, the initiative provides nutritious food to kids during the summer months when many school and community lunch programs are unavailable.

And there's even more reason to support this important initiative! Our local Subway franchise owner has generously committed to matching all cookie sales during the campaign week, doubling the impact of every cookie purchased.

📣 The bags are out!

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who have been busy delivering Food Round Up bags across the city. Some deliveries may be slightly delayed due to the weather, but they're on their way!

Now it's your turn, fill your bag with non-perishable food items and place it on your doorstep by June 6 for pickup.

Together, we can help stock the shelves and support neighbours facing food insecurity. 🥫

Happy 1st Birthday, Rooty! 🎂

One year ago, Rooty joined the Root Cellar family, and what a year it has been! From community events and school visits to fundraisers, parades, photos, high-fives, and countless smiles, Rooty has become a beloved part of our story.

Over the past year, Rooty has helped us celebrate victories, share our mission, welcome new friends, and bring a little extra joy wherever he goes. Whether posing for pictures, cheering on volunteers, or spreading awareness about food security, Rooty has made memories that will last a lifetime.

📢 Volunteers Needed for Food Round Up Bag Pickup! 📢
We are still looking for a few more volunteers to help collect Food Round Up bags on June 6.

It's simple:
🟡 We'll send you a map of your assigned area.
🟡 Drive through the neighborhood and collect the yellow bags left on doorsteps.
🟡 Deliver the bags to one of our designated drop-off locations around the city.
To sign up, email [email protected] and let us know which area of the city you'd like to help with. We also have several routes available in Redcliff that need volunteers.

A few hours of your time can make a big difference in helping stock our shelves and support our community. Thank you!
