The First Rider Program promotes education and awareness on school bus safety for young children riding a school bus for the first time and their parents/guardians.

This year, a video-only program is being offered instead of an in-person event. Families are invited to watch the video together.

We will be paused from August 31st until September 8th inclusive. I look forward to welcoming families back into our learning space on Wednesday, September 9th for Baby Group or Thursday, September 10th for Early Learning Playgroup.
To any parents heading back to work OR sending children back to school, I am thinking of you.

Bluewater District School Board, Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, and Shared School Services are pleased to share that an agreement in principle has been reached with our bus operators. As such, student transportation will proceed as normal for the start of the school year in September!

✅ Important: Families must opt in for transportation for each child through the Edulog Parent Portal App. Students will not be assigned to a bus route unless this step is completed.

Thank you to our bus operators, staff, and families for your patience throughout this process. We're looking forward to a great start to the school year!

Fall vibes and sweater weather is on the way!

Fall often feels like the toughest part of my job when families send their littles off to "big school" and they no longer spend time in our learning space. I feel lucky to have gotten to grow and learn along with all the families that have explored in our learning space.

Here is the calendar and "What's happening" during September. Please note programs in blue are pre-registered programs, never to disappoint anyone but sometimes we need to know numbers to ensure enough supplies.

PLEASE NOTE: We will be closed for staff holidays from Monday, August 31st til Monday, September 7th ( inclusive). Programming will resume with Baby Group on Wednesday. September 9th at 9:30am.

Please note that work is being completed on the exterior of the building today near the gate to the centre.

When arriving for group, please supervise your children closely and be mindful of the caution tape and designated work zone that has been set up by the contractors.
