🎉 Meaford Public Library is proud to celebrate National AccessAbility Week (May 31–June 6)!

This year's theme, "Building a Strong, Accessible Canada," invites all of us to take action to advance a barrier-free country.

Our second accessibility highlight: The library offers a variety of accessible items in our library collection that are available for loan. Find items such as large print books, a Victor Reader Stratus device, audiobooks, Playaway digital audiobooks, decodable books, and much more!

Visit it with our Hooked on Knitting group, help Yarn Bomb the Library Parkette at 10:00 am (or take a walk around the parkette to look at the yarn decorations), and see the knitted and crocheted items in the Hook and Needle Show at 11:00 am.

Our AI expert will show simple ways to use AI for everyday tasks—writing, planning, brainstorming, and problem-solving—using clear “prompt recipes” you can reuse.

Expect quick live demos and an interactive Q&A. We’ll finish with essential tips for verifying results and protecting your privacy when using AI.

Presented by Dr. Richard R. Khan: a technology and AI leader with over 20 years of experience building and governing production-grade platforms across regulated environments. Richard has a DBA (doctoral degree) in Emerging Technologies and Generative AI.
