A huge MDPS thank you goes out to the Mattawa Lion's Club! You may recall earlier this month Mattawa Lion's hosted our bike rodeo. While they were here, we were chatting with a few members about replacing aging school furniture as this spring we ordered 15 new desks and two square tables. Immediately, the Lion's asked how they could help! In no time at all they arrived with a generous donation for MDPS. With these funds we will be purchasing much needed chairs for our primary classrooms. From the bottom or our hearts, we thank you all for your support and generosity. Mattawa truly is a fabulous community. 💙💛

Update: our bus is due to arrive around 3:10-3:15. Unfortunately this is too late for regular buses home. All parents affect have been contacted. Athletes that are walkers will be a bit late returning home as a result of the delay.

What a beautiful afternoon to have some of the Ranger family with us at MDPS this afternoon to unveil our outdoor chime set. It is through the Remember Adam Campaign that we were able to purchase this item for our primary yard. It has been placed near our remember Adam garden along side other playground equipment purchased by the campaign many years ago. Thank you Pierre and Sarah Ranger for joining us today. Adam will always be a special part of the Voyageur family here at MDPS.

Another wonderful day at the diamond. The girls represented MDPS very well. They worked together so well as a team. Always positive and encouraging to each other. It was so amazing to see!! Thank you again to Mme Sophie and Ms. Allison for coaching our 3-pitch teams and to our parents who made sure our players got to the field on time! Mattawa truly is a fantastic community!
