VILLAGE OF MARYFIELD SEEKS ADMINISTRATOR
The Village of Maryfield invites applications for the position of Administrator. The Village is located on Highway 48 in Southeast Saskatchewan. A community of approximately 315 residents, Maryfield offers a school with K-12, a small business sector, a medical clinic, a digital movie theatre and a recreation facility with curling and ice skating available.
The Administrator will be responsible to Council for all operations of the Village in accordance with the policies established by Council and The Municipalities Act. Preference will be given to applicants with an Urban Class C Certificate or those willing to work towards this certificate. To obtain the Urban Class C Certificate, you will need to take the Local Government Administration classes online through the University of Regina. Experience in Municipal Governments, as well as, knowledge of the Munisoft system and Microsoft Office would be an asset. This position also offers a competitive wage, a pension plan and a group benefit plan.
The Administrator works as a team with the Mayor and Council, the Public Works employees, and serving the Residents of Maryfield. Great communication skills are an asset. The job requires you to be able to multi-task and . Evening meetings are once a month which you will be required to attend.
Start date and wage is negotiable based on experience. Only selected applications will be contacted for an interview. Council wishes to thank all applicants.
