Wednesday is the final day for students to bring in books as the swap that will take place on Thursday.
Book Swap is a fun and exciting opportunity for your child to exchange their gently used books for other books donated by Yennadon students.
How it Works
Students will bring in books for donation between March 9th-11th. On Thursday, March 12th, each class will visit the swap so that each student may choose out as many gently used books as they donated. Students may bring in a maximum of ten books to swap.
Criteria for Donated Books
Intermediate students in grades 4-7 are strongly encouraged to donate used chapter books and graphic novels to ensure there is a wide enough selection of desirable books for older students.
Additionally, please make choices carefully before bringing in books. Books will only be accepted under the following guidelines:
- Books must be appropriate for children between grades K-7.
- Books must be in gently used condition: cover on, no rips, no tears, and no bent edges.
- Books with colouring or writing in them will not be accepted.
- Coloring books, activity books, and sticker books will not be accepted.
- Board books will not be accepted.
Please note that the selection of books available will be based on the books donated by other students. Please email the event organizer, Mrs. Williams, at [email protected] if you have any questions.
