🌟 Mini-Gym is back, and we can't wait to see you! 🌟

We're excited to kick off another season of Manning Mini-Gym on Tuesday, October 6th in our new location at the Rosary School Gym!

Whether you've joined us before or have been thinking about giving it a try, this is a great time to come check it out. Mini-Gym is a fun, welcoming space for children ages 0-6 and their caregivers to play, explore, sing, move, and connect with other families in our community.

A huge thank you to Rosary School for graciously hosting Mini-Gym this year, and to Yuko, who will be leading the program and welcoming families each week. ❤️

As we settle into our new home, we'd love your input! We're exploring new equipment, activities, and ideas to help Mini-Gym continue to grow.

As we lead up to World Su***de Prevention Day on September 10, the Resource Centre for Su***de Prevention invites our community to take part in a week of activities focused on hope, connection, and creating positive conversations around mental health.

Join us as we work together to Change the Narrative by reducing stigma, encouraging open conversations, and reminding people that support is available.

Back to school can come with a lot of different feelings — for kids, teens, and parents too.

The transition back to school can sometimes bring a little extra stress, worry, or uncertainty. We’ve put together a few resources that may be helpful for families as everyone settles into the new school year.

Sometimes it’s simply helpful to know what supports are out there and where to find them when you need them.

The day before Back‑to‑School usually means grabbing last‑minute supplies, prepping lunches and snacks, and helping little ones navigate big feelings.

While you’re out today, skip the phone distraction. Make eye contact with someone and take a moment to say hello. They’re probably feeling the crunch, just like you.

Small moments are powerful 💪They build trust, create safety and belonging, and strengthen the places we live, work, and gather.

✨ Exciting things are happening at Manning Mini Gym! ✨

Manning Mini Gym is getting a facelift, and Manning & District FCSS will soon be taking over facilitation of the program!

💚We’re working on expanding our equipment, and creating a fun and welcoming place for our littlest community members to play, explore, learn and connect — while giving moms a reason to get out of the house, connect with other moms and enjoy some grown-up conversation, too. 😉.

As we get ready for this next chapter, we’re also looking to expand our inventory! If you have tumbling mats, strider bikes, push toys, small playhouses, large sensory items or other suitable toys that you’re ready to part with, we’d love to hear from you.

💙 Interested in supporting the development of the Mini Gym program? Cash donations will be used to upgrade equipment and support program facilitation.
