Before you decide to shop online and you are looking for a high quality product check out Moostrax who has a little bit of everything and a lot of quality.
The MEDC is always promoting shop local and this is the time to step up and support our community stores or one day they might not be there .

Moosetrax is quite literally your One Stop Shop! If you haven't visited us before, now is the time! We are gearing up for the colder months ahead and we want to see you enjoying the outdoors in warmth and style. Moosetrax also carries an extensive variety of Safety Apparel and Footwear! If we don't have what you're looking for, we will do our best to get our hands on it!! We hope to see you soon!

The MEDC board would like to thank Al Cresswell for being a great moderator at the 2026 Candidates Night. Also we need to thank the community residents that came out to support and respect the candidates views and listen to their platforms . The picture says it all our residents are interested in our community.
The questions were hard but all candidates did a great job at answering the questions that were given to them . Good luck on the election to all candidates.

The candidate night will be streamed to the Manitouwadge High School page. This will not be recorded . Hopefully another community resident is recording a copy for us to post .

At this time we are hoping to be able to record the 2026 Candidate Night as a community resident has agreed to help out .

The candidates are ready to communicate to our community what there platform is and answer some questions received from our residents. Please arrive on time as we want the candidates to not be interrupted as they are talking.

The Manitouwadge Economic Development Corporation is happy to be sponsoring this event in order for our community to meet the candidates.

The MEDC is thrilled to be able to sponsor this event every year for the last ten years and hopefully ten more .

A hundred strangers, sixty-seven machines, and one small town that gets it right. Ten years in, Northern Ontario's biggest ATV weekend is still going strong, and still belongs to Manitouwadge.
