Good morning swimmers!!

As we are approaching the end of the swim season, here are a few reminders.

- Closing day is August 30th, 2025

- Lap swim/Aquafit is now only available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:15 pm

- Starting tomorrow, we will be open everyday from 1:00-5:30 & 6:30-8:30 pm!! *Please keep in mind that we do have rentals and public swim hours may be altered.

Hello everyone, meet Rya!

We’re excited to welcome Rya to the team for her first season at the pool as a lifeguard! She has a passion for swimming, reading, running, and crocheting. While she is not an instructor this year, she hopes to earn that role next season!

Hello Everyone, the wait is finally over!!

Meet Dominique, our head lifeguard!

We’re excited to have Dominique back for her fourth season at MCSP! She is currently studying biology at the University of British Columbia. Fun Fact: It’s her birthday today! 🎉🎉 As part of our staff, she plays a key role in keeping all things rolling smoothly!! 👑🐠☀️

Hello Everyone!!!

We have exciting news planned for August. We will be hosting a bronze cross and bronze medallion course August 18th and 19th from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Prices:

Municipal Residents - $180 per person

Non-Municipal Residents - $200 per person

Get Ready Everyone!!

The Manitou & Community Swimming Pool is hosting Spirit Week from July 28th to August 1st! Everyone’s invited to participate in themed days and activities. Come show your spirit and make a splash with us!

🌈 Retro Swimwear Monday: July 28th

Kick off the week in bold, vintage swimwear—high-waisted suits, neon colors, funky prints, and visors.

🌺 Tropical Tuesday: July 29th

Bring the island vibes with Hawaiian shirts, leis, grass skirts, tropical prints, and sunglasses.

💦 Wacky Water Wednesday: July 30th

Get silly with splashy outfits—mix-match swimsuits, goofy swim caps, floaties, and goggles on your head. The more outrageous, the better!

🌊 Under the Sea Thursday: July 31st

Dive into ocean-inspired looks—mermaid tails, blue or green outfits, fish prints, seashells, and sea creature gear.

👯 Twinning Friday: August 1st

Team up with a friend and dress identically from head to toe—matching shirts, pants, shoes, and accessories to become a dynamic duo!

Upcoming Free Public Swim Dates & Policy Notice

We’re excited to offer free public swim sessions on the following dates:

July 1st:
• 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Max capacity: 150)
• 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Max capacity: 75)

July 5th:
• 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM (Max capacity: 250)
• 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Max capacity: 150)

Please note:
Our admission is on a first come, first served basis. To secure a spot, all patrons must be physically present in the facility at the time of payment. We do not accept reservations or hold spots via phone or on behalf of others not currently in the building.
