🏢 Business Waste Matters! ♻️

Proper waste separation in businesses helps reduce contamination, increase recycling success, and keep valuable materials out of landfill.

Take a moment to ask:
✔️ Are waste bins clearly labeled and easy for staff and customers to use?
✔️ Are the proper collection bins in place for garbage, recycling, cardboard and organics?
✔️ Are materials being sorted correctly before disposal?

Having the right bins in the right locations makes it easier for everyone to do their part. A well-organized waste system supports cleaner workplaces, helps meet waste management requirements, and contributes to a healthier environment for our communities.

🚫 Propane tanks are NOT accepted curbside!

Placing propane tanks in your garbage or recycling creates a serious safety hazard for collection staff and processing facilities. Even "empty" tanks can still contain residual gas and pressure.

✔ Proper disposal for propane tanks is to take them to your local household hazardous waste depot, for FREE.

Help keep our workers and facilities safe by disposing of propane tanks the right way.

🚚 Secure Your Load – Keep Our Roads Clean! 🌎

Whether you're heading to the landfill, delivering materials, or hauling yard waste, always make sure your load is properly secured before hitting the road.

Loose garbage, construction debris, recyclables, and other materials can easily blow out of an uncovered truck or trailer, creating litter along our roadsides and potentially causing safety hazards for other drivers.

✅ Use a tarp or net to cover your load.
✅ Secure items so they can't shift during transport.
✅ Avoid placing loose waste directly in the back of a truck without a cover.
✅ Double-check your load before you leave.

A few extra minutes spent securing your load can help keep our communities clean, protect wildlife, and prevent waste from ending up where it doesn't belong.

Let's all do our part to keep litter off our roads! ♻️
