4:30pm UPDATE: The watermain repair has been completed and water service has been restored.

Affected residents are asked to run their cold water taps for several minutes to help remove any air from the lines and ensure fresh water is flowing through to their homes.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while crews completed the repair.

⚾ Granton Park Red Clay Ball Diamond Upgrade Update ⚾

We’re excited to share that we have finally received confirmation for the planned upgrades to the Granton Park Ball Diamond!

Work will begin on Monday, June 8 with excavation and preparation of the diamond as part of the improvement project.

🚧 Please note: The Ball Diamond will be closed for approximately one week while this work is completed.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we make these improvements to enhance the facility for players, teams, and the community. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to an improved diamond soon!

🚧 Main Street Construction Update 🚧

The contractor is scheduled to pour the curbs on the north side on Thursday, June 4.

At this time, sidewalk pouring is expected to take place on Friday, June 5 from Market Street to the vacant lot beside BMO.

🔹 If any sidewalks are poured on Thursday, business entrances will remain accessible.

🔹 During the sidewalk work, vehicle access to the rear of businesses and residences will be through the vacant lot only.

🔹 The alleyway/tunnel access will be closed to vehicles for approximately one week following the concrete pour.

🔹 Pedestrian access on the new concrete is expected to reopen after 24 hours, allowing access again on Saturday.

Please note: the section between the vacant lot and BMO will be completed at a later date still to be determined.
