Welcome to London, students! 📚 👮

September brings new classes, new friends, new roommates and plenty of reasons to celebrate.
The London Police Service has now launched Project LEARN (Liquor Enforcement and Reduction of Noise). You will notice an increased police presence in the city to ensure safety for all.

Have fun. Get out. Explore the city. Make the most of your year. But remember: you live here now and that means being a good neighbour.

Keep the noise down. Keep alcohol out of public spaces. Respect people’s homes and property. Clean up after yourself. And look out for the people you’re celebrating with.

Choose licensed events, sanctioned events or small private gatherings.

London is your community, too. 🙌 Have good times and be a better neighbour.

As we head into the Labour Day long weekend, the London Police Service is reminding everyone to make safety part of their plans. 🚔

Our officers will be focused on the Big Four:

📱 Distracted driving
🛑 Seatbelt use, or lack thereof

If you’re heading out of town or travelling around the city, plan ahead. Traffic volumes may be heavier than usual, so slow down, leave extra time and pack your patience.

Before you hit the road, take a moment to make sure your vehicle is ready and fit for the trip. And remember: obey the rules of the road, stay focused and make safe choices.

We want everyone to enjoy the long weekend and make it home safely. Plan ahead. Drive safe. Be patient.
