Today, we join communities across the globe in celebrating International Workers’ Day.

Every bridge you cross, every hospital that keeps you alive, every classroom where your kid learns, every place you shop — workers built that. Workers keep this province running.

And workers deserve a government that fights for them.

Fair wages. Safe workplaces. Good union jobs.

That’s what we’re fighting for.

Happy International Workers’ Day.

Happy Easter! Today, Christians around the world across the province are celebrating Easter, marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It’s an opportunity to embody and carry out acts of service — from feeding the most vulnerable to treating others with respect and kindness.

Easter is a time of renewal, celebrating new beginnings and holding onto hope. Now more than ever, in a world marked by uncertainty, these values ring true.

Whether you’re gathering with family over a big meal, attending an Easter service, or finding some eggs left by the Easter Bunny , we wish you a Happy Easter filled with and plenty of sweet treats!

Today is International Women’s Day, a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements of women and girls across Ontario and around the world.

It’s also a time to reflect on those who marched, organized, and fought for the rights many of us benefit from today.

Women are leading change in their communities every day as workers, caregivers, organizers, entrepreneurs, and artists.

At the same time, we must recognize the inequalities women continue to face: persistent pay gaps, disproportionate caregiving responsibilities, housing insecurity, and safety in our communities. Intimate partner violence and gender-based violence remain serious threats to women and gender-diverse people across Ontario.

Today and every day, we must protect and amplify the voices of Indigenous, Black, racialized, newcomer, q***r, and disabled women who are too often left out of the conversation.

Happy International Women’s Day.
