A huge thank you to Lakeland College Rustlers Women’s Hockey for their incredible donation to A New Home for Hope! 💜

Over the past five years, the Rustlers Hockey Fights Cancer event has raised funds with a goal of supporting cancer care in our community, and we are so honoured that those efforts are helping make this project a reality!

A New Home for Hope will support the relocation of the Cancer Care Unit at Lloydminster Hospital, helping create a space that better supports patients and families throughout their treatment journey. When someone in our community hears the words “you have cancer,” they deserve to know they can receive exceptional care close to home, surrounded by comfort, compassion, and support.

A New Home for Hope is our commitment to supporting the relocation of the Cancer Care Unit at Lloydminster Hospital, creating a space designed around healing, dignity, comfort, and compassionate care.

For many patients, cancer treatment means weeks or months of appointments, long hours receiving care, and navigating one of life's most difficult journeys. Through this campaign, the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation will help fund enhancements to patient treatment areas, upgraded equipment, and features that create a more supportive experience for patients and their loved ones.

When someone in our community hears the words “you have cancer,” they deserve to know they can receive exceptional care close to home, in a space designed with their comfort and well-being in mind.

Together, we can create a new home for cancer care in our community—a place where hope lives, comfort surrounds, and healing begins.

Flowers do more than brighten a space—they bring comfort, hope, and a reminder that someone cares! 🌼

Last week, we planted the flowers that will continue the Blooms for Healthcare program, bringing a little extra joy to patients and families at the Lloydminster Hospital, Dialysis, and various continuing care facilities throughout Lloydminster.

A special thank you to Wickham Nurseryland for helping us continue this meaningful program and ensuring these beautiful blooms will be ready to brighten someone's day! 🌸

We are also incredibly grateful to the Lloydminster & District Co-op team for once again donating their time and energy to help with planting! Your continued support makes a lasting impact on our community!
