Election Day for the Lloydminster Civic Election is November 13.

Understanding the roles and responsibilities of the different levels of government is important – especially in a border city like ours!

The Municipal Government looks after local services like roads, recreation, parks, garbage, and water. It also makes sure local laws are followed and keeps our communities safe.

The Provincial Government provides things like schools, hospitals, and highways. It also manages natural resources and helps protect the environment.

Municipal matters are often closest to home, which is why it’s important we all make the time to vote, whether it is during an advance poll or on November 13.
