Our final Eats and Beats of the 2026 season is here! Live music by tarrahandthetrouble and 52nd Street - Music of Billy Joel, with food trucks, local vendors, and the best B**r Garden on the North Shore.

⚠️TRAINING NOTICE⚠️
North Shore Fire/Rescue will be conducting swift water rescue training in the river below the Thiensville Dam from September 9 –11.

Residents and visitors may see emergency vehicles, personnel, and rescue equipment in the area during this time.

There is no emergency. This activity is part of scheduled training to help area firefighters prepare for water rescue incidents.

Leaf it out of the drain! 🍂 Fall is just around the corner—rake it, don’t drain it, and help keep our waterways clean.

Although leaves are naturally occurring and biodegradable, when not managed properly, they can cause serious harm to our waterways. Leaves are composed of nutrients including phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium.

When leaves are left on top of storm drains, these nutrients leach into stormwater runoff, creating ‘phosphorus tea’. Storm drains then transport the nutrient heavy water directly into our rivers and lakes causing unwanted algae blooms that deplete the water’s oxygen levels, harm aquatic ecosystems and wildlife, and interfere with outdoor recreational activities.

Thank you to Village resident and former Village Trustee John Treffert for organizing and collecting donations to have this beautiful Redpointe Maple planted in Village Park in honor of former Village resident Jim Kasum.

A lasting tribute that adds beauty to our community and honors Jim’s memory. Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible!

It's Election Day! Polls are open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Voting will take place at Village Hall (250 Elm Street). Voters are asked to use the entrance at the back (north side) of the building.
