The City of Kawartha Lakes is happy to share that, as a result of the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan (2025), we are starting work on a new Parks Master Plan. This project aims to create a better and more connected parks system that meets the different needs of our community.

Ever wonder what it’s like to breathe underwater?... wonder no more, your local PADI 5 Star Scuba Diving Center – Dive Kawartha will be hosting a free session in celebration of JRPM.

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program will allow you to participate in an intro to scuba diving. Experience and explore the pool from underwater, and see if scuba diving is for you.

This is an introductory experience for non-certified individuals to breathe underwater and try scuba in the pool under supervision by a PADI dive professional.

All participants must be 12 years or older, and complete a medical questionnaire prior to participating.

Join our guest speaker at 9:30am to learn about the local trail system and trail etiquette.

🚶🚴‍♀️ RECREATE:
Put your knowledge to the test! Following the educational portion, join us on one of our trail day tour routes to enjoy some of our awesome trail networks.
