Our next exhibit at our Bobcaygeon library branch to help celebrate 25 years of the City of Kawartha Lakes brings together scenes of travel, recreation, and everyday life across the region:

Snug Harbour Marina – Snug Harbour Marina on Sturgeon Lake, near Lindsay.
Grand Trunk Railway Station 2218, Grasshill (1916) – A train paused at the station while a group lined the tracks for a photograph.

Summer Fun at the Park and Outdoor Pool – Children playing at a Lindsay park with the former outdoor pool in the background.

Steam in the Cold – Train 6167 (1962) – Spectators gather in the winter cold as coal is loaded onto a train in Lindsay.

We would love to hear from you! Comment with your memories, stories, or help identify people and places. Your contributions help us build the story behind every photo.

Visit the Bobcaygeon branch to see them on display from June 1, 2026, to July 31, 2026
