What does a “day in the life” really look like in different careers? 🤓

Since 2020, Career Transitions has been capturing real career stories from real professionals, and now you can watch all 107 sessions for FREE from the comfort of your home!

💻These recordings are available on our website and are accessible for students, teachers, parents, post‑secondary students, and community members.

These sessions were made possible by individuals across Southern Alberta (and beyond!) who generously shared their time, expertise, and career journeys.

🤩 Real Professionals. Real Stories. Real Pathways.

Do you know any students, in grades 9-11, who are interested in business and entrepreneurship? If so, please share info about this awesome event with them!

On behalf of our friends at the Dhillon School, we are happy to share that they are hosting their annual “High School Business Day” on Friday, May 22.

Students will have the opportunity to attend a real business class, tour the Dhillon School of Business and learn about all the programs, meet with alumni and hear about their experiences and maybe win a prize in the live business simulation.

National Volunteer Week 💛 and we’re feeling so grateful for our incredible Event Team!!

A huge thank you to the dedicated volunteers who supported the EPIC DAY Career Conference. They showed up for 2 full days, ready to jump in wherever needed … bringing not just helping hands, but humour, personality and unmistakable unique style that made the whole experience even more fun for everyone!

EPIC DAY simply wouldn’t be what it is without a team like this supporting our exhibitors, students and supervisors every step of the way.

We are truly grateful for each and every one of them. Thank you for making it all happen!

💡 Join us for a Virtual Career Exploration Session on becoming a Full‑Stack Software Developer.

🗓️ Tuesday, April 28th
🕟 4:00 P.M. (Virtually!)

Tyrell brings ideas to life through code. As a Development Lead he works with a team to design, build, and test software used by people across the globe.

In this session, Tyrell will share his path into software development, what it’s like to guide a development team, and the blend of technical and creative skills needed to turn concepts into real, working technology.

If you’re curious about how things are built, love solving problems, or enjoy creating something from nothing, this session will give you a real look into the world of Full‑Stack Software Development.

And the best part … you don’t need to be a coding expert to start exploring! Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn.

If you’re unable to attend the live session, a recording will be available on our website one week after the session.
