Dr. Probe Elementary School

Dr. Probe Elementary School Dr. Probe School is a community of confident, active learners who are inclusive and kind. Dr. Probe Elementary School is named after Dr. Gerald B.

Probe, an outstanding educator who provided leadership in Lethbridge School District No. 51 for almost two decades. Gerry began his career in Regina before coming to Lethbridge School District No. 51 in 1970 as Director of Personnel. Dr. Probe was subsequently appointed Associate Superintendent of Personnel and Facilities Planning, and served one year (1987-88) as Acting Superintendent. Dr. Probe

played a major role in directing public education in Lethbridge. He was responsible for all aspects of staffing and had significant involvement in the planning and construction of new facilities. His main impact, however, came from the consideration and support he provided for the many individuals who comprise Lethbridge School District No. 51. The term "people person" could well have been derived from Gerry's life. Gerry Probe was committed to providing the best possible educational opportunities for children. His dedication had a major impact on the quality of education in our city.

Hello everyone! We are very excited to announce that 2 Guys and a Pizza Place has very generously offered to partner with us to help raise funds for our School Council! As you may know, school council helps make many things possible at the school, they donate a lot of time to help make Dr. Probe such an amazing school and community! They also provide funds for field trips, special presentations, and other things in the school. We appreciate them very much! This fundraiser is definitely a win-win as families have the opportunity to eat some amazing pizza and support our school at the same time! They also have a variety of delicious pasta and salads that you can order! If you would like to participate, it is very simple. Go to the website,

2. Before you checkout, type PROBE in to the coupon code box. This coupon is not a discount, but rather will donate part of the total cost to our school!
