5th on 5th provides a number of services, such as:

Reach-Up: for helping youth with disabilities to become employment-ready, and then in becoming employed. Come see what opportunities await you...

Work Experience: for resume and job-search training, and then get connected with an em

ployer who's looking to hire someone with less experience. (That's you- yes!)

Career Focus: for helping youth utilize their education and training towards their career goals and a professional profile. Find a job that builds your career resume.

Resume Workshops: come in to our scheduled resume workshops for help creating, editing and perfecting a professional resume that employers want to see. Check our most recent posts for when the next one will be held.

Forward Life Impact Workshop (FLI): for helping youth develop skills in employment, budgeting, nutrition, and so much more. Take our six week class... and get PAID to be there!

Indigenous Culture Employment Training (ICET): for helping youth develop skills in employment, budgeting, nutrition, life skills all while learning the Indigenous Culture. Take our eleven week class... and get PAID to be there!

Newcomer Employment Training (NET): for helping newcomers to Canada develop skills in employment, budgeting, Computer skills , and so much more. Take our eleven week class... and get PAID to be there!

Facilitating Investment for Red Seal Trades (FIRST): for helping employers in the Red Seal Trades receive additional financial help after successfully hiring and signing a new first year apprentice.

The Forward Life Impact (FLI) program is starting intakes soon! This is a paid 6 week program where youth can earn the equivalent to minimum wage. The FLI program offers youth facing barriers to learn life and employment skills in a classroom-based setting. Youth can learn topics such as communication, budgeting and resume writing while completing certificates such as ProServe, WHMIS and First Aid. Kick off Whoop-Up Days with breakfast, prizes, and plenty of fun! Join us for Interfaith Food Bank’s 18th Annual Pancake Breakfast on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 7:00–10:00 am at 1103 3rd Ave N.
