The Trade Show and Rodeo performance at 1:30 pm are still a go but the midway will be closed due to weather today. Pancake breakfast at the Leduc Recreation Centre by Leduc Scouts till 11am. Come on down!

The rain may have shortened our visit, but it couldn’t wash away the memories.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the Black Gold Rodeo Midway this year. From thrilling rides and midway treats to laughter with family and friends, we’re grateful to have been part of your long weekend.

While Mother Nature had other plans for the remainder of our stay, we appreciate your support, smiles, and understanding.

Thank you for making memories with us. We look forward to bringing the fun back and seeing you again next year!

🎡 Until then—stay safe, take care, and we’ll see you down the midway in 2027. ❤️

I’m super excited about this!!!

The Leduc RCMP is proud to announce the official relaunch of the BlackGold Nighthawks Citizens on Patrol program. After a period of inactivity, this vital volunteer initiative is being brought back to enhance the safety and well-being of the Leduc community through a renewed partnership between residents and local law enforcement.

The program is a volunteer-led effort where members work alongside the Leduc RCMP to serve as “extra eyes and ears” for the community. By restarting this program, the RCMP aim to empower citizens to take an active role in crime prevention and build a more secure environment for everyone.

“We are bringing this program back because community safety is a shared responsibility,” says Sgt Bill Weatherdon. “The return of the Nighthawks represents our commitment to working together for a safer Leduc.”

To facilitate the restart of the program, the Leduc RCMP will be hosting a public information session this June. It will be held Wednesday June 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Leduc RCMP detachment located at #1 4119 50 Street Leduc.

You can register for this information session at the link below or by scanning the QR code.

Interested residents who want to help make a difference are encouraged to attend the session.
