What a night! 🌅✨

A huge 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to everyone who joined us for our first 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁!

It was wonderful to see the new Waterfront Market Plaza filled with people enjoying great food, live music and a beautiful Friday evening along Lake Erie. 🎶🍴

Seeing so many residents and visitors come together and enjoy this new waterfront space made the night extra special.

Thank you to our performers, vendors, community partners, volunteers and everyone behind the scenes who helped bring the evening to life. And most of all, thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us.

We couldn’t have asked for a better first Waterfront Market Night!

Reminder: Green Bin delivery begins in Leamington this week.

The Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority (EWSWA) will begin delivering Green Bin kits to eligible Leamington households starting today, with delivery continuing throughout the week.

Each kit includes a 120L Green Bin, a 7L Kitchen Catcher, a How-To Guide and sample compostable bags. There is no need to register to receive your kit.

📅 Weekly Green Bin collection in Leamington begins in November. Check your 2026 Collection Calendar for your collection day.

When your Green Bin arrives, be sure to open it and remove the Kitchen Catcher and information package stored inside.

Get your GREEN On! You can be a Green Superhero by putting food waste in the right place – in the Green Bin, not the garbage! Green Bin Kit delivery starts in Leamington on September 14th. Once Leamington is complete, it will move to Kingsville, once completed will move to Amherstburg. Watch for yours coming soon.
