Thank you Mayor Woodward for visiting us today. We are grateful for Mayor and council for their ongoing support of our community of Aldergrove.

Great to the see the progress at Meals on Wheels with their renovation and accessibility additions on the second floor above the firehouse cafe, all to support non-profit and other programming in Aldergrove.

Thanks to Deanna Horn and Shannon Woykin for taking the time, and outlining some of the intended uses, with a vision for potentially even more expansion and improvements in the future.

🎉 We’re honoured to be recognized by the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) and the Canada Revenue Agency for our participation in the 2026 tax-filing season!

Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and community partners, Langley Meals on Wheels was able to help individuals in our community access free tax filing support, ensuring they receive the benefits and credits they are entitled to.

This year marks an incredible milestone—55 years of the CVITP helping Canadians navigate tax season with dignity and support. We are proud to be part of this important initiative and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.

For seniors supported by Langley Meals on Wheels Services Society, it’s not just food, it’s safety, dignity, and knowing someone cares. 💙

Through Project Impact Healthy Aging, Executive Director Shannon and her team listened directly to seniors and learned what truly matters: human connection. The meal opens the door but trust, friendship, and peace of mind are the real impact.

We have partnered with Neufeld Farms once again to bring delicious gourmet at the best prices 🎉 You can place your orders online using the link below or keep your eye out for our QR codes posted in the Firehouse Cafe. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We are happy to help and try to resolve any challenges you may have. 
 
Just as with all our events, the proceeds from the fundraiser will support the organization so we can continue to support the community.
