The ARENAS at Langley Events Centre are officially open! 🎉

Built with an innovative stacked-arena design, the new facility makes efficient use of its compact footprint. Two dry floor arenas are located above three ice surfaces, delivering five new arenas within one modern, purpose-built complex.

Mayor and Council celebrated the opening of the new facility with the community on Wednesday, September 9.

“This facility is a game changer for ice and dry floor sports in Langley. Needed due to growth, ready for today and for the future, funded from growth revenues. For Langley Minor Hockey, Langley Girls Ice Hockey, Valley Ball Hockey, and Langley Minor Lacrosse. For youth, skaters, players, coaches and families. More capacity. Better ice times. More practice time. More options for kids across all of Langley. And now, by being able to shift programming currently at the Aldergrove Community Centre and George Preston Recreation Centre in Brookswood to this new facility, it frees up more time for other local non-profit organizations.” – Mayor Eric Woodward

The ARENAS at Langley Events Centre will support athletes, teams, families, and visitors for years to come.
