Stage 3 water restrictions are now in effect across Metro Vancouver, including the Township.

As of June 8, Stage 3 water restrictions are in effect, and lawn watering is banned across the region.

Watering trees, shrubs, and flowers is permitted any time if watering with a hand-held hose, water container or using drip irrigation. Vegetable gardens can be watered at any time.

The world’s biggest sporting event is coming, and you can cheer on Team Canada soccer this summer at the Stadium at Langley Events Centre.

Three Canada group stage matches are part of 11 free viewing opportunities taking place, with an additional two matches on June 14 available for viewing inside the Banquet Hall at Langley Events Centre.

Hosted by the Township of Langley in partnership with Langley Events Centre, Vancouver Football Club, and Langley United Soccer Association, these free community viewing events are designed to create a fun, safe, and family-friendly atmosphere for fans of all ages.

Metro Vancouver has announced that Stage 3 water restrictions will come into effect this Monday, June 8.

Stage 3 water restrictions will come into effect on June 8.

Under Stage 3, lawn watering is still prohibited. Trees, shrubs, and flowers can be watered by hand or drip irrigation only —no sprinklers or soaker hoses. And there will be additional restrictions on filling pools/hot tubs, and washing surfaces, vehicles, and boats.

Property tax statements have been mailed to property owners. Utility fees are billed separately and are not included in the tax statement. To avoid penalties, pay your property taxes and utility fees by Thursday, July 2.

There are several convenient ways to pay, including online banking, credit card (with a non-refundable 2.2% processing fee), in-person at your financial institution, or at the Civic Facility’s customer service counter or 24-hour drop boxes.

Join us this June at salishan Place by the River for National Indigenous History Month as we celebrate the cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

🐾 Scats and Tracks: Saturday, June 6, 1 to 3pm | Learn how to identify wildlife through tracks, s**t, and skulls.

🌿 Edible Plants: Sunday, June 14, 1 to 3pm | Explore edible and medicinal plants—and which ones to avoid.
