There’s something about hospital hallways at 2am 🤍 The quiet, the anticipation, oh the stories they could tell… And yet, whenever I’m there, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. Birth is unpredictable, support shouldn’t be.

I’m back from maternity leave and am soo excited to be accepting clients with due dates in February 2024 and onwards!

It’s been so special having this time with my girls and space to adapt to being a mom of two. I have grown and learned so much that I can’t wait to bring with me as I enter the birth world again! I wanted to give myself a full year to make sure I can be fully present with families through their pregnancy, labour and birth, and postpartum journeys.

My name is Sophia Coad and I’m a certifying maternal support practitioner (aka fertility, birth and postpartum doula).

Like many parents, after becoming pregnant with my daughter 3 years ago, I threw myself into researching all I could about the journey to parenthood. Through everything I learned and my experiences, I truly found a passion for the complexity of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

I provide physical, emotional and informational support to families, no matter what their journey has been or will be. My goal is to help them feel confident in their intuitions and empowered during these transformational walks of life.
