We are asking Albertans for feedback on draft reports and flood maps from the Lamont flood study.

We are particularly interested in feedback on the draft flood inundation maps, which show areas at risk for different sized floods to help with emergency response, and the draft flood hazard maps, which define floodway and flood fringe areas to help with long term planning.

Public engagement is part of our standard flood study finalization process, and occurs after local authorities, such as towns, cities, counties, municipal districts, and Indigenous communities, have had an opportunity to review the draft reports and flood maps.

Take the Lamont flood study engagement survey to provide your feedback here: https://www.alberta.ca/lamont-flood-study-engagement

Have your say on updated flood hazard maps that will help reduce the impacts of future floods.

We are actively gathering feedback on 13 flood studies that cover 330kms, and we will consider all feedback received.

This round of engagement closes July 8.

View draft maps and submit your feedback at https://www.alberta.ca/flood-study-engagements
