REMINDER: As part of Senior's Week, attend ' in Lamont (TODAY!), St. Michael (June 2), Andrew (June 3), Mundare (June 4) & Bruderheim (June 5). June 1-7 has been declared Seniors Week in to honour the past, present and future contributions of seniors.

Elder Abuse Case Manager, Loretta Kroeker, doing a short presentation at each location discussing her role with (Rural Elder Abuse Prevention Coalition) and the ongoing education and awareness campaigns on elder abuse.

Alberta Seniors’ Week 2026 runs from June 1 to June 7, 2026, marking the 40th anniversary of the event to celebrate the contributions of older adults. The data collected is important to municipalities as it aids in funding opportunities, planning of services, and has impact on program and economic development. All levels of government use this to make informed decisions across the entire country. Canvassers (census employees with clear identification) may call you or visit your property if you have not yet completed the survey(s), so if you have received a letter with the online code or a paper copy of the survey(s), complete them as soon as you can!
