Lakeshore Helping Lakeshore would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support our very first annual Spring Craft & Gift Show!

Because of the incredible support from our community, amazing vendors, shoppers, volunteers, and supporters, the event was a wonderful success. Together, we raised $418.80 along with a collection of non-perishable food items for the Community Support Centre of Essex County Food Bank. 🥫❤️

We are so grateful to every vendor who shared their creativity, talent, and passion, and to every person who stopped by to shop, donate, and celebrate with us. Your kindness and community spirit made this event truly special.

This was more than just a craft show — it was a reminder of what our community can accomplish when we come together to help one another.

Thank you again for helping us make a difference right here in Lakeshore. We already can’t wait for next year! 🌷✨

Hello Lakeshore! 💚

Our 3rd Annual Earth Day Community Clean-Up was a success! 💪♻️🚮🌎

Together, we collected over 14 bags of garbage from around our community! We’re incredibly proud of our student volunteers and adult volunteers, whose hard work and dedication made such a meaningful impact!

Events like this are a great reminder that small actions add up and that taking care of our shared spaces is everyone’s responsibility. 🫂

Looks like we've been blessed with clear skies and sunshine for our 3rd Annual Earth Day Community Clean-Up!

We will be out today from 10am - 2pm with our amazing student volunteers, cleaning up areas around our beautiful community!

If you see our student helpers, be sure to say hello! They are amazing kids! 🫶

We invite the community to do what they can to clean up areas in their locations - SEND US YOUR PHOTOS! - or you're welcome to come out and join us at the Belle River West Beach, The Optimist Park, the Lions Park, and the Belle River District High School area.

Hello Lakeshore! 💚

Reminder that this upcoming Sunday is our 3rd Annual Earth Day Community Clean-Up!
(☂️Rain Date: April 26th)

We will be working hard alongside of our amazing student volunteers to clean up several areas around Belle River!

We'd like to send an enormous thank you to RONA Sauve's Home Centre Ltd for being an incredible sponsor of this event! They have generously donated gloves and garbage bags to help make our clean-up a success!!! 🙏

We'd also like to send a huge thank you to our sponsor, Windsor Pure & Clean H2O To Go!, another great Lakeshore run business who will be donating 5 gallon jugs of purified drinking water for our volunteers to cut down on plastic bottles!

While students have pre-registered to help us with this event we encourage the entire community to to do what they can at their locations to keep our town beautiful, or feel free come come out and join us!

On this cold, rainy and foggy Winter day, we thought you'd might like a glimpse into Spring! ☀️🌱

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 1st Spring Craft & Gift Show!

The show will be held Saturday, April 25th from 10am - 3pm at the St. Simon & St. Jude event centre. Come check out amazing local wares and find the perfect gift for Mom! One as unique as she! 💐

There will also be a bake sale! Don't miss out on delicious fresh baked goodies!

As always, admission will be free, though donations to the Community Support Centre of Essex County 's Food Pantry are greatly appreciated!
