We have seen an increase in raccoon bite reports within local parks, like Ojibway Nature Centre.

Enjoy the outdoors but stay safe – do not try to feed or pet wild animals!

Celebrate, experience and learn together!

Throughout June, communities across Ontario host events that celebrate Indigenous cultures and traditions.

From Pow Wows to community gatherings, these events offer opportunities to:

• Learn and listen
• Experience traditional and contemporary expressions of culture
• Support Indigenous artists, performers and businesses

Taking part—whether in person or online—is a meaningful way to recognize National Indigenous History Month.

Celebration is about connection, learning and showing respect.
