Managing household expenses is easier when you can plan ahead.

The City of Lacombe's Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) lets property owners pay their taxes through convenient monthly withdrawals rather than one larger payment each year.

Payments are automatically withdrawn on the 16th of each month, helping make budgeting more predictable.

Interested in enrolling? Complete your the enrollment registration before June 30.

Temporary Hours Change

Please note that Lacombe City Hall and the Operations Facility will close to the public at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 11 for staff training, and will reopen for regular hours at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 12.

Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex / Pool Modified Hours:
Open 6:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. on June 11.
Please note: Water Therapy and the Noon lane swim are cancelled.

Wednesday, July 1st is Canada Day in Lacombe!

Spend the day touring local museums and be sure to attend the parade and flag raising at the Royal Canadian Legion Lacombe Branch #79.

Enjoy family activities throughout our City all day long! There will be food trucks, face painting, a community market, live entertainment and so much more!

The City of Lacombe and Lacombe County are celebrating a major national milestone following the overwhelming adoption of their joint resolution at the recent Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Annual Convention in Edmonton.

The resolution, calling on the Government of Canada to reverse the proposed closure of federally operated agricultural research centres, passed with an extraordinary 98% support from municipalities across the country.

It's time for an artwork refresh!

Kids! Join us on June 20th from 12:00 pm to 3:15 pm at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex for the 30th Anniversary of the Aquatic Centre!

We're excited for you to help us update the artwork in the upper and lower foyers by creating images of your favourite sport or physical activity. We will provide the supplies, and you can create some cool pictures! If you want to create at home, please use a 10” x 10” piece of paper, bright colors and bring it to the Sportsplex on June 20th. Don’t forget to lightly write your name on the back of your picture!

It's an afternoon of family fun, celebrating three decades of swimming and recreation. We're even bringing back pool prices from 1996 with a special $2.50 swim!

🚒 Fire Training Notice

The City of Lacombe Fire Department will be conducting live fire training exercises today at the Fire Training Facility located at 5606 34 Street, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

During this time, residents in the surrounding area may notice visible flames, smoke, and increased emergency vehicle activity. This is part of a planned training exercise, and there is no risk to the public.

There is no need to report smoke or flames related to this location during the training period.

We appreciate your understanding as firefighters carry out this important training to keep our community safe.

City Hall & our Operations Facility will be closed at 11:15 am for City Staff training on Thursday June 11. City facilities and offices will resume operations and reopen Friday June 12th at 8:30.

The Kinsmen Aquatic Centre will be open from 6:00am-11:00am on June 11 then again from 4:00pm-9:15pm but closed in between. Please note that water therapy and noon lane swim are cancelled on June 11th.
