We are excited to announce the premiere of our new program called “The Renewal Project” classes start today!

The Renewal Project, powered by Sacred Tree Healing, is an innovative, multi-stage personal and
professional development program dedicated to empowering individuals to fundamentally rebuild their
lives from the inside out. Utilizing a trauma-informed care methodology and integrating diverse healing
modalities, the project seamlessly interweaves deep inner wellness, essential life skills training, and
robust employment preparation. This design creates a streamlined, accessible, and comprehensive
wraparound support system.
Participants are offered flexible entry points, allowing them to engage with any stage independently to
address specific needs, or to progress sequentially through all four stages for a fully immersive and
transformative experience.

The programming involves personality & creative assessments, music therapy, thought repatterining, character building, breathwork, sound healing, finding their purpose, life skills training, resume building, employment placement supports, housing placement supports.

We are proud of this project and even more excited to launch the pilot project here at LOESS!

The sky is the limit when we meet people where they are at and not where we think they should be. By asking the question “how can we support you in getting to where you want to go”.

We will keep you posted with updates and results! The classroom looks amazing!

Black Balloon Day is an international awareness day observed annually on March 6 to honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of people lost to drug overdoses. It is a day dedicated to supporting grieving families, reducing the stigma surrounding addiction, and raising awareness about the ongoing opioid epidemic.

Female and male participants, 18 years and older, are hoping you might donate gently used, clean (not used outside) running shoes so they can use the Bold Facilities - especially on days like these! Shoes can be dropped off at the shelter beside Alex Hamilton Pond or at the Bold Centre.

ALSO - Please direct anyone or call us to ensure anyone out in the cold without a warm place to go gets to the shelter safely in these temperatures!!

Over the last month, we've had three team meetings with three separate community service providers to initiate more suitable accommodations for three participants, two of whom are seniors.

Wrap-around support from community service providers who are willing to 'think outside the box' with staff and participants to work toward solutions in a rural community is a massive success for the County.

We look forward to building on these successes with the 18-member community service providers we meet with throughout the year!
