Help local seniors get to where they need to go!

We have an urgent need for volunteer drivers to help take local seniors to their appointments and social activities. This role is extra important during the winter season to keep local seniors happy, connected and independent.

If you or someone you know has a flexible weekday schedule, please consider volunteering for this important program.

Opportunities start at one hour a week, and mileage is reimbursed.

Regional police are looking for a suspect that plowed four vehicles in a hit-and-run.

It happened on Saturday evening in a parking lot located in the area of Police say on Saturday September 13, they of Brybeck Crescent and Westmount Road East.

Through the investigation, officers learned that a male driver was allegedly driving through a private parking lot at a high speed and smashed into four parked vehicles before fleeing the scene.

The driver then fled the scene on foot. No physical injuries were reported from the incident.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them at 519-570-9777, extension 6399.
