We're so grateful for the continued support of May Court Club KW! The $1,100 we recently received will provide vital for child victims and their caregivers in our services. This may include taxi services, bus passes, and parking vouchers – all based on individual needs. for helping to alleviate this burden that many face, so no barrier exists between children and a brighter future. 🩵

On this International Day of Families, we celebrate the irreplaceable role of in strengthening our society. While this can take many forms, we know having at least one supportive adult in a child's life is invaluable towards them reaching their potential and thriving. ☺️

That's why we're about not only helping young victims, but also building up their families - recognizing the huge interconnectedness between them. Last year alone, we supported 770 caregivers of young victims, to boost their effectiveness in supporting their child. We offered a listening ear, knowledge, resources, information, and encouragement.

2026 Youth Symposium highlights! 🌟

🎤 It was amazing welcoming over 1,700 grade 8 students and their teachers from almost 30 local schools over 3 days.
🎤 This was the 19th annual edition, but the first time taking place at University of Guelph and Wilfrid Laurier University.
🎤 Our incredible speakers made a huge impact! They were Chris Gray Speaks, Broken Silence, and Jeff A.D.Martin.

For over 20 years, the Child Witness Centre has partnered with United Way to support children and youth who have experienced or witnessed abuse—helping them feel safe and prepared as they navigate the justice system.

Led by Executive Director Robin Heald, whose work is deeply rooted in lived experience, the organization continues to go above and beyond—from sharing their story on our podcast to collaborating on our TMMC campaign and engaging in workplace initiatives.

Robin and her team are more than service providers—they are passionate advocates, reminding us that supporting children through trauma is a shared responsibility.
