Routes 4 and 20 will be on detour on Tuesday, May 5 from start of service to noon for a Red Dress Walk hosted by The Healing of the Seven Generations. The walk starts at 300 Frederick St and ends at the Clock Tower in Victoria Park. There also may be delays on routes 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 35, 204 and ION service.

Members of Unifor Local 4304 have ratified an agreement with the Region of Waterloo.

There will be no disruption to GRT services, including buses, ION trains, and MobilityPLUS. MobilityPLUS subscription trips will run as scheduled. Customer service locations will be open during regular hours of operation.

The Region of Waterloo and Unifor Local 4304 have reached a tentative agreement.

The union membership will hold a ratification vote on the tentative agreement on Sunday, May 3. All buses, including MobilityPLUS, continue to operate. Further updates will be provided following the vote.

Take Route 21 to get to the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival this Saturday, April 11!
Service starts around 6:45 a.m., and extra trips have been added to get to and from the festival. Buses leave every 15 minutes from Conestoga Station between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and every 15 minutes from Church St. & Arthur St. in Elmira between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
A detour will be in effect during the festival. For more details, visit grt.ca/detours.
