This is a really cool story. Accommodations to employment can look exactly like this! We work closely with employers and job seekers to help create successful situations just like this one!
"Tonight we went to Texas Roadhouse in Turkey Creek for dinner.
When we sat down to eat this was on our table with an expo marker.
Y’all, my heart exploded.
I have never seen anything like this at any restaurant I have eaten at.
Hats off to Texas Roadhouse because she was one of the best servers we have ever had; I loved that it allowed me to teach my kids about a deaf person and how they communicate.
They were so intrigued.
I also realized that I know very little signs and most of the ones I know are potty, juice, all done, drink and more.
I clearly work in a PreK room with potty trainers…..and I wouldn’t trade a single moment."
