Census data collection starts in May!

Local Enumerator, Gail Dakue, will be collecting data for majority of the R.M. of Kingsley from May 4th-May 11th. She’ll be driving a blue truck.
The eastern & southern portion of the municipality will be collected by Theresa Beresh, between May 4th-11th, and she will be driving a grey Jeep.

SARM is deeply disappointed with the Pest Management Regulatory Agency’s (PMRA) decision to deny Saskatchewan’s emergency use request for strychnine. Denying emergency use does not eliminate risk; it simply shifts the burden entirely onto producers and municipalities, left with tools they know are not managing the problem.

SARM is concerned that the decision to deny strychnine does not fully account for the cumulative impact of gopher damage on food production, farm viability, and rural community resilience. **g
