🎓‼️ This message is for our 2026 graduating students!

Graduation day is almost here.

As a group, CICE students will prepare for the ceremony together.

Important Information
📅Day: Thursday, June 18
📍Location: Slush Puppie Place
🕞Meeting Time (Graduating CICE Students): 3:50 p.m. at the front entrance on Tragically Hip Way (Look for the balloons)

What to Expect
At 4:00 p.m., the group will move to the front of the line to put on regalia together (black gown and V-shaped collar).
Please note: we are not able to wait for late arrivals.

The group will complete a walk-through of the space, including:
✅ Seating locations
✅ Where to go when it is time to cross the stage
✅ Expectations and questions

The ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m.
It may be a longer event—students are welcome to bring a quiet fidget item if helpful.

After the ceremony, St. Lawrence College will host a reception for graduates and guests on the upper level.

Please Note:
There is no storage available for bags or purses
Bring $50 for regalia rental (if not already arranged)

Happy Workplace Wednesday! This week we are celebrating our partnership with the Salvation Army Thrift Store. This inclusive placement site allows an opportunity for students to develop their organization, teamwork, and customer service skills. Happy Workplace Wednesday! Today we are celebrating our partnership with Lennox & Addington Resources for Children. CICE Students have loved their placements in daycares and after-school programs where they've developed communication, active listening, conflict resolution, health and safety awareness, teamwork, patience, and activity design. We are grateful for this meaningful partnership and the real-world learning it provides. We look forward to working together in the future.

This Workplace Wednesday, we want to highlight one of our fantastic placement partners. CICE student placements are secured by our Placement Learning Specialist: a member of the CICE team who understands specialized supports. Placements are based on the vocational interests of each student and their needs.

This student enjoyed a placement at SK BrickRescue, a used LEGO store where collections are washed and organized into complete sets. Thank you for supporting our students on placement!

The Valedictorian
A graduate committed to St. Lawrence College, their academics, student activities and the community. By standing up as the Valedictorian at Convocation, you will speak on behalf of their fellow graduates and be the first to welcome the next chapter of their lives. There will be one Valedictorian selected for each ceremony.
