Kingston Legion - Branch #098 Located at 1472 Veterans Lane in Kingston, Nova Scotia, we are Branch #098 of The Royal Canadian Leg The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 098 was founded in 1946.

It is located near 14 Wing Greenwood, the largest Royal Canadian Air Force base on the East Coast. We are the second largest RCL Branch in Nova Scotia with more than 770 current paid memberships. Branch 098 offers comradeship, support and services to veterans including currently-serving and retired military, RCMP members, and their families. We also serve and support many local organizations, even

ts and charities through donations, volunteerism and the use of our facilities. Our Mission is to serve veterans, which include serving military and RCMP families, to promote remembrance and to serve our communities and our Country.

We're cooking breakfast at this Wednesday's Veteran's Coffee Break!! Start your day with breakfast, Wednesday June 10th at 10 a.m. at your Kingston Legion. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A LEGION MEMBER TO ATTEND. If you are a veteran or serving member of the Canadian Forces, an allied force, or the RCMP, please come and join us. Spouses are also welcome.
We try to have a Legion Service Officer and a representative from CFMWS in attendance if you have any queries into Veterans Affairs Issues or programs for Veterans. Don't worry - This is a social gathering, so if there are no issues, just come, sit and chat with your fellow vets. Best of all, it's free! We hope to see you there.

Tickets are now on sale for the Merry Melodramas' Secondhand News Show featuring the music of Fleetwood Mac (played by a live band), at your Kingston Legion (July 24th). There is a limit on tickets being sold, so get them while they are still available. They are available during normal hours at the bar. $25 each. Cash only. Non refundable. Open to the public.

Please note that there shall be no Community Breakfast or Meat Draw, Saturday June 6th at your Kingston Legion. Ticket sales for this week's Chase the Ace will cease at 2pm, Jun 6, and a ticket will be drawn at 3:30 pm for this week's prize. (Good Luck)
The Legion shall be holding a service for our Past Comrade, Shirley Shore, at 2 pm in the Veteran's Lounge. Our condolences to the loved ones of Shirley.
Our bar and video machines shall be closed for the duration of the Legion Service. We shall reopen when the Service has been completed.

Some exciting news......we just booked Merry Melodramas' Secondhand News - A musical comedy featuring the music of Fleetwood Mac. I can tell you that the date will be July 24th. More information will be publicized when it becomes available so please be patient. When we post the info most of your questions should be answered. These are the same talented performers that did the recent Abba Show. It was a blast!!!! I'm not a big Abba fan but I must say that people having a good time is contagious...and I can guarantee you, we had a good time🎷🎷🎷🎸🎸🎸🥁🥁🥁🎹🎹🎹
