Hey Kingston, You may be done with your cigarette, but is it done burning?🚬

Smoking materials are the number one cause of fatal fires and they’re 100% preventable. Watch what happens over time when we think our cigarette is done and not disposed of properly!🔥

Please, take an active role in your personal safety. Stay safe and have good weekend!🚒❤️

Hey Kingston, with the rise of rural vegetation and barn fires around the area it is important to remember that it can destroy your livelihood and your livestock in minutes.

Most of these devastating fires start from a simple electrical spark. Don't risk it. Take a walk through your barn today and check these 3 things:

⚡The Wiring: Are your cords and machines unplugged or turned off when not in use? Is your wiring safely enclosed in conduit away from dust and pests?
🌾The Storage: Are your hay, straw, and fuels stored in a separate building away from the main barn?
🧯The Prep: Do you have working fire extinguishers ready to go, and does everyone on your team know the escape plan?

It only takes one spark to lose everything. Protect your farm before it's too late.

👇 SHARE this to remind our local farming community to do a quick safety check today.

Hey Kingston residents, it’s spring cleaning time! Let’s keep our homes safe by grabbing a vacuum and clearing out those ducts and vents. 🌞

Dust and lint can spark fires, so don’t let them hide. A quick clean now means a safer summer ahead. 🔥

Share to stay cozy, not risky!🚒

What a fantastic morning at our annual community pancake breakfast yesterday! The weather was perfect, the company was even better, and it was amazing seeing so many familiar faces from our community come out to enjoy the event.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and visited the Joyceville Country Fair table, Kingston Fire & Rescue Fire Prevention team, the face painter, Touch-a-Truck display, and of course everyone’s favorite guest — Sparky the Fire Dog!

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who donated. All proceeds from the breakfast will be going toward the Joyceville Public School food sharing program to help support local students and families in our community.

We truly appreciate the continued support and love bringing the community together for events like this. We hope everyone enjoyed the breakfast, and we’re already looking forward to our next community event! 🚒🥞
