We are proud to recognize Parallel Electric Ltd. as a Silver Sponsor of Cruise for a Cause in support of the EMBER Program through Victim Services Kingston & Frontenac.

EMBER is an empowerment-based response program supporting survivors of human trafficking who remain at risk of re-exploitation. Built around longer-term, trauma-informed support, the program focuses on stability, healing, empowerment, and helping survivors move forward safely over time.

Community partnerships like this help strengthen the network of care available across Kingston & Frontenac and directly support survivor-focused services in our region.

Join us June 25, 2026 aboard the Island Queen for an evening of live music, visual art, and community connection along the Kingston waterfront.

Thank you to Parallel Electric Ltd. for helping make this work possible.

If your organization would be interested in receiving a sponsorship package or learning more about partnership opportunities, comment below or send us a message and we would be happy to connect.

Earlier this month, members of the Victim Services Kingston & Frontenac team attended the 18th Annual Kingston Frontenac HSJCC Community Services Fair alongside a wide range of organizations serving our community.

The event helps raise awareness of the many supports, services, and resources available across Kingston & Frontenac, while creating opportunities for agencies to connect directly with community members and one another.

Weโ€™re grateful to the Frontenac Human Services & Justice Coordinating Committee (HSJCC) for organizing this important event and bringing together organizations across areas including counselling and support services, housing, emergency services, healthcare, education, financial and legal services, and community supports.

Collaboration matters. Access matters. Community matters.

Volunteer with Victim Services EMBER Program | Get Trained | June 17โ€“18

Are you looking for a meaningful way to contribute to your community?

The Victim Services EMBER Healing Collective is training volunteers this June. On June 17 and 18, we are hosting a two-day training program that will prepare you to safely and effectively support survivors of human trafficking, in whatever capacity you serve.

No prior experience is required. What matters is your commitment to showing up with care, consistency, and an open mind.

A grounded understanding of trauma and how it shows up in real life
Clear boundaries and tools for your role
Confidence to respond, not freeze, in difficult moments
A place within a coordinated, community-wide network
