Memorial Park Pool is open to book Private Bookings!

Do so online by visiting our website, kentville.ca/pool.

Private Booking times are Saturdays and Sundays 12:00 - 1:00pm, 1:00 - 2:00pm, 4:00 - 5:00 pm, and 5:00 - 6:00 pm, for hourly timeslots.

There will always be at least two lifeguards on staff and the maximum capacity for Private Bookings is 50 people.

Calling all of those mystical creatures out there. International Fairy Day is June 24th and our Kentville Plays Summer Fun Crew is celebrating this at Oakdene Park from 5:00 to 7:00 pm that evening!

Join in on the fun with them by building fairy houses and fairy wands!

This event is free and drop-in style. A perfect way to show off your creativity!

Join the graduates of Northeast Kings Education Centre this Sunday, June 14th, to celebrate this massive accomplishment before their prom event!

Come together at Centre Square from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm to cheer on the graduates!

Please note that all parking will be closed at Centre Square on this day from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm for the event. We thank you for your understanding, and welcome everyone to come and join in on the celebrations!

You read that right ... we will be hosting a World Cup Viewing Party on Thursday, June 18th at the Rec Hub (800 West Main Street)!

Canada versus Qatar. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm.

Pull up, grab a chair, and enjoy the game amongst our own soccer fields here in Town!

2026 marks 200 years of Kentville as "Kentville"! We are celebrating 200 Years of Growing by opening a Gardening Contest to the Kentville community!

Judging Categories:
-Sustainable & Eco-Friendly
-Edible & Productive
-Container & Small Space
-Specialty
-Children’s

Voting:
Voting will open June 15 at 12 midnight. A voting panel will occur following the submission deadline of August 15 at 12 midnight. Participants give the voting panel permission to view their entry in person. If participants do not feel comfortable with this, please reach out to [email protected].

Pictures:
Entrants will be able to submit up to 5 pictures to support their registration. By entering the contest, entrants give permission to Town of Kentville to use the pictures they submitted. Entrants will be email prompted to then submit their photos via email!

Results & Awards:
Winners will be notified by email, following the submission deadline date, and a presentation will be made at Harvest Festival in October! Each category winner will receive a prize.

Calling all Pickleball enthusiasts!! We are looking for Volunteer Pickleball Leaders to help with the Outdoor Pickleball season which runs from now until September 30th.

There are several All Levels times:
-Mondays, 9am - 12 pm
-Wednesdays, 9 am - 12 pm
-Fridays, 1 pm - 4 pm
-Sundays, 9 am - 12 pm

Level 2.00 - 2.99:
-Tuesdays, 6 pm - 10 pm

Level 3.00-3.49:
-Thursdays, 6 pm - 10 pm

Level 3.5+:
-Sundays, 6 pm - 10 pm

Dive into Summer with us at the Kentville Memorial Park Pool!

Before regular programming begins on Saturday, July 4th, we will have some FREE Public Swim times and Lane Swim times at the pool to ring in the Summer season!!

July 1st:
- Free Public Swim, 3 pm - 6 pm

July 2nd:
- Lane Swim, 12 pm - 1 pm
- Free Public Swim, 1 pm - 4 pm

July 3rd:
- Lane Swim, 12 pm - 1 pm
- Free Public Swim, 1 pm - 4 pm
