๐Ÿฅพ The boots are back in town! ๐Ÿฅพ

The North Grenville Fire Service will be out at key intersections across the community on Friday, September 25, from 4 p.m. until dark for the 2026 Fill the Boot campaign, raising funds in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

If youโ€™re passing by, give our firefighters a wave, share a smile or, if youโ€™re able, drop a donation in the boot. Every bit of support is appreciated! โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ’ฅ Last year, North Grenville did what North Grenville does, and raised an incredible $7,980.93. Weโ€™d love to see those boots fill up again this year, with funds raised helping Muscular Dystrophy Canada support people and families affected by neuromuscular disorders.

Whether itโ€™s a donation, a smile or a wave, our firefighters will be happy to see you! ๐Ÿฅพ๐Ÿ‘‹

๐Ÿš’ Firefighters' National Memorial Day

Today, September 13, the Municipality of North Grenville joins communities across Canada in honouring firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty, and the families, colleagues and communities who carry their memory forward.

Here in North Grenville, we are proud of our volunteer firefighters who give their time and answer the call to help protect our community.

Flags at the North Grenville Municipal Centre have been lowered to half-mast today as we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and recognize all firefighters who continue to serve.
