Burn Notification Numbers: What you need to know 🔥

If you’re planning a controlled burn within the provincial forest — or within 4.5 km — during wildfire season, you’ll need a Burn Notification Number.

✅ These notifications replace burning permits
✅ Helps avoid unnecessary emergency response

⏱️ Most numbers expire the day after they’re issued — make sure your fire is fully out before then.

A Huge thank you to all of the volunteers from the Action Committee for holding down the Shooter and Ceasar Bar, selling 50/50 and watching the 4 hole in ones!!! Unfortunately we didn’t have any winners this year… thank you for the help with the prizes and speaking (Max and Amber)… after most of the department had to leave due to a call for service, To our FD golf committee for organizing and making this another successful day, to all the Fire Departments that came from afar to join in on the fun golf day, the Kelvington Golf Course crew for hosting us once again and our amazing Auctioneer Trent Prekaski who was put on the spot and blew us away with his auctioneering skills. Too all the sponsors and donors, we couldn’t have made this happen without you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Can’t wait to see you all next year! We don’t have a tally yet of funds raised but will within a couple weeks. Cheers!

Looks like it will be a fair weather golf day on Saturday! ⛳️ we are only a few days away from great food, great prizes and a load of fun.
